2023 Cohort 1 learners getting ready to carry out community practice at IDP Camp Kuchingoro
The caregiving learners from Cohort 1 were prepared to contribute to the overall well-being of the camp residents by attending to their physical, emotional, and social needs. Under the guidance of experienced trainers and supervisors, the learners were able to apply their theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in a demanding environment.
During their time at the IDP Camp, the caregiving learners had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of caregiving activities. They participated in health assessments, helping to identify individuals who required immediate medical attention and coordinating with healthcare professionals to provide appropriate care. They also assisted with the distribution of essential supplies such as food, clean water, and clothing, ensuring that the basic needs of the camp residents were met.
